Join or renew
Dues are billed at the start of each year and are due before the Spring meeting. Membership runs January 1 – December 31.
Active Member Department
- Fire departments, fire marshal offices, ESDs, rescue and first responder organizations, and 9-1-1 EMS providers in the district's 23 counties
- Every active member of your department can join as an Individual Active Member and vote at meetings
- Eligible to host meetings and receive district awards
Contributing Member
- Manufacturers, vendors, agencies, and nonprofits that support the fire service
- May be paid in dues or approved in-kind or sponsorship support of $20 or more
- Expires December 31 each year
Donation
- Support training scholarships, recognition, and district programs
- Tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law
- Businesses, auxiliaries, and friends of the fire service
Good standing
Departments whose dues are not paid before the Spring meeting are not in good standing. Their members may not make motions, vote, hold office, or receive district awards until dues are paid. Departments that miss two consecutive years may be removed from the roll by the Executive Board and reinstated by paying the current year's dues.
Paying by check? Make it payable to Central Texas Firefighters' and Fire Marshals' Association and mail it to mailing address.
Other membership classes
Life Members: All Past Presidents, with full voting rights and no dues.
Honorary and Honorary Life Members: Granted for distinguished or long service.
